Carol Dietrich
Hello and Welcome!
What changes would you like to make in your life?
How do you want to be in the world?
The Chinese philosopher Lao-tzu said “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. It takes courage to ask for support and make changes. Perhaps you are just beginning to take that step or you have already taken that step and wish to deepen your journey of personal growth and healing. With compassion and curiosity, I can support you on your journey of self-discovery.
Psychotherapy provides an opportunity for healing and personal growth culminating in greater fulfillment. Research shows that therapy is most effective when a trusting and collaborative relationship is established with someone who listens and guides with compassion.
I have 20 years experience working with individuals, groups, and families in a variety of treatment settings. My approach is informed by Jungian and Buddhist psychologies with an insight oriented/depth perspective using creative arts therapies. My therapeutic style is understanding, compassionate, empathic, curious, collaborative and attentive. I believe healing occurs within the context of a strong interpersonal relationship and together we will create a safe space to explore the issues that concern you and examine options that will facilitate the integration of your mind, body and spirit to promote optimal health and wellbeing.
I invite you to take a look at my website to learn more about me and the work I do, and if you think I can be of help please contact me to further explore this possibility.
